Why might this happen?
Our design experience needs your device’s GPU (graphics processing unit) to render the scene. Since the GPU is shared with other pages, apps or programs, its power may be directed elsewhere, and there may not be enough resources to power the design experience.
How can I avoid this?
There are many reasons that can trigger this condition and, unfortunately, it might be hard to avoid. However, there are a few measures you can take to prevent this from happening:
- Close other pages and programs that require a lot of GPU resources (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere, Netflix, YouTube, Games).
- Run your browser with fewer tabs - especially if your other tabs are showing pages which put heavy demands on the graphics system.
- Keep your device plugged in. Having full power will ensure your GPU is running at maximum speed
- Stick to the same screen/screens configuration. Switching the number of devices (e.g., temporarily adding a monitor) can spike the graphics resources.
